What is the Fund’s decision-making and selection process?
An advisory committee has been established to coordinate the process and to consider and approve funding requests. The committee consists of several members representing the creative community, residents and business These advisors seek and accept grant suggestions and advice from participants in civic organizations, Lowertown residents, and the office of the Mayor and other city officials. The advisors also work collaboratively with other foundations and organizations, with a view to leveraging their joint resources for the long-term benefit of the Lowertown community.
Proposals are judged strictly on their potential benefit and value to the greater Lowertown community.
